Providing Early Start Services in Riverside County

Our Early Start Program

One to one (1:1) in-home and community (if applicable) individualized intervention program designed for children younger than 36 months to address developmental areas of need such as: cognitive, physical/motor (gross/fine), communication (expressive/receptive), social/emotional, and/or adaptive skills.

Strategies

A.D.I.S. utilizes errorless learning, role playing, modeling, imitation, discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment training (NET), functional communication training (fct), and other strategies that lead to positive outcomes.

Parent/Caregiver Participation

Participation is required and is a critical component in facilitating and enhancing your child’s development. Your parent participation component will be individualized based on your child's developmental delays and parent concerns. Parent's will be observing (watching behavior technician with your child), participating (parent working with therapist and your child), and facilitating (independently running target program with your child).

Continuity of Care

In the event your child receives a diagnosis on or before the age of 3 years old, A.D.I.S. will be able to assist you in the transition process to the appropriate insurance funding source. This assistance will help minimize any potential breaks in services.
