Assessments

A.D.I.S. utilizes age appropriate assessments and/or required assessments by your insurance to determine your child’s current level of functioning and gain information on maladaptive (inappropriate) behaviors. Assessments provide the assessor with information on what individualized goals to create for your child, behavior intervention plan(s) (BIP) to implement, and how many hours of ABA your child will benefit from receiving.

Outcome Measures

A.D.I.S. provides the following outcome/assessment measures Vineland-3, PSI-4, SIPA, PDDBI, VBMAPP, SRS-2, Bayley, DP-3, TOPS-3, and more. A.D.I.S. works closely with a variety of insurance companies to quickly and efficiently complete needed outcome measure assessments for families. All beneficiaries participating in the Autism Care Demonstration must receive an outcome evaluation at baseline (within one year of initial diagnosis) and every two years thereafter while receiving ABA services. The beneficiary’s primary care manager (PCM) who must be a TRICARE-authorized specialized autism spectrum disorder (ASD diagnosing provider) can submit the referral for the outcome measures directly to A.D.I.S (NPI # 1144776287). Once the referral is in place with A.D.I.S., we will contact you by phone and send you the assessments through our assessment portal so you can complete both assessments in the convenience of your own home. Please contact us or speak directly with the autism care team at HNFS for more information

Community-Based Services

A.D.I.S. provides ABA services in a wide range of community locations. We accompany families into the community to provide necessary support and teaching to ensure your child can be as independent and successful as possible. We target a variety of community settings to work on the most socially significant skills.

Parent Training

At A.D.I.S. we implement the highest level of parent training based on your family’s unique needs. The more parent involvement and collaboration with your ABA team, the greater the chance your child has to meet their individualized goals.

During parent training's you will be educated on ABA and all the techniques utilized during your child’s ABA sessions by a board certified behavior analyst (B.C.B.A.) and/or mid-tier supervisor. In addition, you will learn how to read and implement a behavior intervention plan (BIP) that will help in decreasing your child’s maladaptive (inappropriate) behaviors and help increase functionally appropriate replacement behaviors. Specific parent goals are created and reported on as required by your funding source to ensure parent participation

As your child reaches discharge criteria and 1:1 ABA support is not necessary, A.D.I.S. will create a plan to transition to parent training services only to assist parents with managing behavior problems and necessary skills at home or in the community.

Service Flow

Intake Interview

The initial contact will be made by a clinical supervisor over the phone. At this time, we will be discussing our services, schedule availability for ABA sessions, and we will then send out intake paperwork for you to complete online. Once we have received your completed paperwork, a supervisor will call you to set up a time to meet in your home to observe your child, run any required assessments, and review your completed intake paperwork

The Assessment

The clinical supervisor will meet you and your child in your home and conduct assessments that will identify your child’s needs. The clinical supervisor will discuss your challenges and concerns. Assessment tools will be selected based on your child's age and developmental level. Results of assessment will be used for writing a therapy plan that will be submitted to your child’s insurance company.

Therapy Intervention

The clinical supervisor will describe your child's strengths and areas of skill development, suggest learning goals, present the plan to you, and address your questions and concerns. The progress report will be written along with program updates every 6 months or as required by your medical insurance company.

Intervention

A.D.I.S. utilizes Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) as well as Behavior Technicians (BT) who implement the therapy plan based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). The RBT/BT will work with your child in a center based or in-home capacity based on scheduled dates and times. Your child's progress will be monitored by a clinical supervisor during weekly or biweekly supervisory visits.

Providing Center, In-home, and community based aba therapy

a.D.I.S. Is committed to providing, center and home based ABA therapy for children and adolescents with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and/or pediatric diagnosis. ABA therapy involves different types of professionals: clinical director, clinical supervisor, behavior technician (BT), and registered behavior technician (RBT). A clinical supervisor conducts a functional assessment, creates a report, monitors your child’s progress, and supervises an RBT/BT's work with your child. the report will include individualized goals and behavior intervention plan which is a plan for minimizing behavior(s) of concern (E.g., task avoidance, tantrum).

a clinical supervisor will see your child approximately once a week or every other week based on 1:1 aba hours. An rbt/bt provides 1:1 instruction for your child. An rbt/bt therapist implements instructional programs developed by a board certified behavior analyst (B.C.B.A.), collects data, and discusses your child’s progress with a clinical supervisor. How often your child needs to receive aba therapy will be based on the functional assessment, your child’s developmental age, and auxiliary therapies. In most cases, a therapist sees your child thought-out the week on a long standing appointment schedule.
